Update from the General Manager, ext. 232
miles.tucker@manhattancc.com

This Saturday, March 6, 2010 the Club will be hosting a memorial service for our founding member, locally famed photographer and much loved member of the Manhattan Beach community, Mary Pat Dorr.

Mary Pat's family has asked us to reach out to see if anyone who has had their pictures taken by Mary Pat would be willing to share those images for the purpose of building a collage of her work. The photos can be scanned or proofs that do not need to be returned can be delivered to the drop-off bin outside 870 18th Street, Manhattan Beach (cross street Poinsettia).

The family and the Club thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.

Update from Membership Director, ext. 367
regan.marvel@manhattancc.com

Refer a new member & receive one month free of dues AND complimentary dinner for FOUR!
In any private Club, the best new members are those that come with a referral and stamp of approval from existing members. An unfortunate side effect of the economic downturn of 2009 is that many members were forced to relinquish their memberships. This has created a rare opportunity for those who will continue to enjoy the privilege of membership to play an active role in shaping the next generation of MCC members. I will be running a membership referral program effective immediately through the end of April. Additionally, any members interested in joining the Membership Committee and participating in the selection and approval process for incoming members are asked to please contact me via email. Participation in the committee will offer additional incentives for membership referral, as well as an invitation to semi-annual new member cocktail parties.
